Our analysis looked at 1,794 schools in the United States to see which associate degree programs were the most popular for trade school students. To create this ranking we looked at how many students graduated from each school on the list.

Our 2023 rankings named Ultimate Medical Academy - Clearwater the most popular school in the United States for trade school students working on their associate degree. Clearwater, Florida is the setting for this medium-sized institution of higher learning. The private not-for-profit school handed out associate degrees to 5,503 students in 2020-2021.
On average, associate degree students take out $24,458 in loans while pursuing their degree. Of those students who received their degree, 97% were women.
UMA Clearwater does have options available for those who want to take online classes. You will need to check with the school to see if they are available for your specific major. In fact, around 98% of the undergraduate population registered for at least one online class in 2019-2020.
You’ll be in good company if you decide to attend Ivy Tech Community College. It ranked #2 on our 2023 Most Popular Associate Degree Trade Schools list. Indianapolis, Indiana is the setting for this large institution of higher learning. The public school handed out associate degrees to 3,161 students in 2020-2021.
Students from Indiana who attend Ivy Tech Community College full time pay an average of $4,637 in tuition and fees. Out-of-state students pay an average of $8,927.
