To assist you in seeing some of the education options that are available to you, Trade College Search has created its Best Bachelor's Degree Trade Schools in the New England Region ranking. This report analyzed 64 schools in the New England Region to see which ones offered the best bachelor's degree programs for trade school students.

Our 2023 rankings named Charter Oak State College the best school in the New England Region for trade school students working on their bachelor’s degree. Charter Oak State College is a public institution located in New Britain, Connecticut. The school has a small population, and it awarded 443 bachelor’s degrees in 2021-2022.
In-state students pay an average of $8,254 in tuition and fees if they attend Charter Oak State College full time. Those students who come from outside the state pay an average of $10,796. Bachelor’s Degree recipients from Charter Oak State College accumulate an average of $22,125 in student debt by the time they complete their degree.
If you are interested in distance education, Charter Oak State College is an excellent choice, since the school is online.
You’ll join some of the best and brightest minds around you if you attend New England Institute of Technology. The school came in at #2 on this year’s Best Bachelor’s Degree Trade Schools in the New England Region list. New England Tech is located in East Greenwich, Rhode Island and has a small student population. In 2021-2022, this school awarded 220 bachelor’s degrees to qualified students.

Out of the 64 schools in the New England Region that were part of this year’s ranking, Granite State College landed the # 3 spot on the list. Located in Concord, New Hampshire, the small public school handed out 353 bachelor’s degree awards in 2021-2022.
Full-time students from New Hampshire pay an average of $7,806 in tuition and fees if they choose to attend GSC. Those students who come from outside the state pay an average of $9,150. On average, bachelor’s degree students take out $19,391 in loans while pursuing their degree.
Depending on your major, you may be able to take online classes at GSC. Of all the undergraduates enrolled at the school during the 2020-2021 academic year, around 100% took at least some of their classes online.
Out of the 64 schools in the New England Region that were part of this year’s ranking, Boston University landed the # 4 spot on the list. Located in Boston, Massachusetts, the large private not-for-profit school awarded 4,998 diplomas to qualifed bachelor’s degree students in 2021-2022.
If you want to attend Boston U, expect to pay an average of $62,360 in tuition and fees. Of course, this could be reduced if you receive financial aid. On average, bachelor’s degree students take out $21,413 in loans while pursuing their degree.

The average tuition and fees at Fisher College is $34,150. In-state students do not receive a discount, however you may be able to reduce your price if you receive financial aid. Sacred Heart University came in at #11 in this year’s edition of the Best Bachelor’s Degree Trade Schools in the New England Region ranking. This fairly large private not-for-profit school is located in Fairfield, Connecticut, and it awarded 1,475 bachelor’s degrees in 2021-2022.

Colby - Sawyer College landed the #12 spot in the 2023 rankings for the best bachelor’s degree trade school programs. Colby - Sawyer is a very small private not-for-profit school situated in New London, New Hampshire. It awarded 155 bachelor’s degrees in 2021-2022.
If you want to attend Colby - Sawyer, expect to pay an average of $47,164 in tuition and fees. Of course, this could be reduced if you receive financial aid. By the time they get their bachelor’s degree, students from this school have racked up an average of $24,399 in student loans.

Wentworth Institute of Technology ranked #14 on this year’s Best Bachelor’s Degree Trade Schools in the New England Region list. Boston, Massachusetts is the setting for this small institution of higher learning. The private not-for-profit school handed out bachelor’s degrees to 848 students in 2021-2022.

University of Vermont came in at #19 in this year’s edition of the Best Bachelor’s Degree Trade Schools in the New England Region ranking. UVM is located in Burlington, Vermont and has a fairly large student population. In 2021-2022, this school awarded 2,551 bachelor’s degrees to qualified students.
Students from Vermont who attend UVM full time pay an average of $18,890 in tuition and fees. If you are from out of state, expect to pay an average of $43,890. On average, bachelor’s degree students take out $19,673 in loans while pursuing their degree.

University of Maine landed the #20 spot in the 2023 rankings for the best bachelor’s degree trade school programs. Orono, Maine is the setting for this fairly large institution of higher learning. The public school handed out bachelor’s degrees to 2,047 students in 2021-2022.
