This report analyzed 232 schools in the Middle Atlantic Region to see which ones were the most popular associate degree programs for trade school students. To create this ranking we looked at how many students graduated from each school on the list.

Our 2023 rankings named Culinary Institute of America the most popular school in the Middle Atlantic Region for trade school students working on their associate degree. Culinary Institute of America is a small private not-for-profit school located in Hyde Park, New York that handed out 564 associate degrees in 2021-2022.
If you want to attend The Culinary Institute of America, expect to pay an average of $36,620 in tuition and fees. Of course, this could be reduced if you receive financial aid. On average, associate degree students take out $12,958 in loans while pursuing their degree. Of those students who received their degree, 47% were women.

This fairly large public school is located in Brooklyn, New York, and it awarded 1,252 associate degrees in 2021-2022.
Students from New York who attend City Tech full time pay an average of $7,320 in tuition and fees. Out-of-state students pay an average of $15,270. Full-time students from Pennsylvania pay an average of $17,940 in tuition and fees if they choose to attend Penn College. Out-of-state students pay an average of $25,680. On average, associate degree students take out $20,551 in loans while pursuing their degree. Of those students who received their degree, 34% were women.

The excellent associate degree programs at Community College of Philadelphia helped the school earn the #4 place on this year’s ranking of the most popular trade school schools in the Middle Atlantic Region . Community College of Philadelphia is located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and has a fairly large student population. In 2021-2022, this school awarded 1,815 associate degrees to qualified students.

Nassau Community College ranked #18 on this year’s Most Popular Associate Degree Trade Schools in the Middle Atlantic Region list. Nassau Community College is a fairly large public school located in Garden City, New York that handed out 2,247 associate degrees in 2021-2022.
