To create this ranking we looked at how many students graduated from schools with online programs.

Our analysis found Excelsior University to be the most popular school for trade school students who want to pursue a associate degree in the Middle Atlantic Region . Excelsior University is located in Albany, New York and has a fairly large student population. In 2021-2022, this school awarded 1,240 associate degrees to qualified students.

With a ranking of #22, Raritan Valley Community College did quite well on this year’s most popular schools for trade school students working on their associate degree. RVCC is a public institution located in Branchburg, New Jersey. The school has a medium-sized population, and it awarded 1,068 associate degrees in 2021-2022.

YTI Career Institute-York did quite well in this year’s ranking of the most popular places for trade school students to get an associate degree. It came in at #23 on the list. Located in York, Pennsylvania, the very small private for-profit school awarded 132 diplomas to qualifed associate degree students in 2021-2022.

College of Southern Maryland landed the #24 spot in the 2023 rankings for the most popular associate degree trade school programs. CSM is a small public school situated in La Plata, Maryland. It awarded 910 associate degrees in 2021-2022.
Full-time students from Maryland pay an average of $7,200 in tuition and fees if they choose to attend CSM. If you are from out of state, expect to pay an average of $9,240. Associate Degree recipients from CSM accumulate an average of $11,500 in student debt by the time they complete their degree. Around 63% of those degree recipients were women.
During the 2020-2021 year, about 91% of the undergraduates at the school took at least one online course.
Mohawk Valley Community College came in at #25 in this year’s edition of the Most Popular Online Associate Degree Trade Schools in the Middle Atlantic Region ranking. Utica, New York is the setting for this medium-sized institution of higher learning. The public school handed out associate degrees to 657 students in 2021-2022.
