This report analyzed 215 schools in the Southeast Region to see which ones were the most popular basic certificate programs for trade school students. To create this ranking we looked at how many students graduated from the Allied Health Professions program at each school on the list.

The colleges and universities below are the most popular for allied health majors pursuing a basic certificate.

Our 2023 rankings named Meridian Institute of Surgical Assisting the most popular school in the Southeast Region for allied health professions students working on their basic certificate. Located in the large city of Nashville, Meridian Institute of Surgical Assisting is a private for-profit school with a small student population.

Of the 466 students majoring in allied health at Meridian Institute of Surgical Assisting, 23% are male and 77% are female.
