Our analysis looked at 44 schools in Utah to see which undergraduate certificate programs were the most popular for trade school students. To create this ranking we looked at how many students graduated from each school on the list.

Our analysis found Mountainland Technical College to be the most popular school for trade school students who want to pursue a undergraduate certificate in Utah. Located in Lehi, Utah, the small public school awarded 563 diplomas to qualifed undergraduate certificate students in 2021-2022.
Of those students who received their degree, 69% were women.
The excellent undergraduate certificate programs at Davis Technical College helped the school earn the #2 place on this year’s ranking of the most popular trade school schools in Utah. Davis Technical College is a small public school located in Kaysville, Utah that handed out 658 undergraduate certificates in 2021-2022.

Fortis College - Salt Lake City came in at #9 in this year’s edition of the Most Popular Undergraduate Certificate Trade Schools in Utah ranking. Located in Salt Lake City, Utah, the very small private for-profit school handed out 76 undergraduate certificate awards in 2021-2022.

USU is located in Logan, Utah and has a large student population. In 2021-2022, this school awarded 97 undergraduate certificates to qualified students.
Full-time students from Utah pay an average of $8,305 in tuition and fees if they choose to attend USU. If you are from out of state, expect to pay an average of $24,223. Undergraduate Certificate recipients from USU accumulate an average of $11,696 in student debt by the time they complete their degree. Around 58% of those degree recipients were women.

Tooele Technical College did quite well in this year’s ranking of the most popular places for trade school students to get an undergraduate certificate. It came in at #19 on the list.
