Our analysis looked at 44 schools in Utah to see which undergraduate certificate programs were the most popular for trade school students. To create this ranking we looked at how many students graduated from each school on the list.

Our 2023 rankings named Mountainland Technical College the most popular school in Utah for trade school students working on their undergraduate certificate. Mountainland Technical College is located in Lehi, Utah and has a small student population. In 2021-2022, this school awarded 563 undergraduate certificates to qualified students.
Around 69% of those degree recipients were women.
You’ll be in good company if you decide to attend Davis Technical College. It ranked #2 on our 2023 Most Popular Undergraduate Certificate Trade Schools in Utah list. This small public school is located in Kaysville, Utah, and it awarded 658 undergraduate certificates in 2021-2022.
Of those students who received their degree, 56% were women.
You’ll be in good company if you attend Bridgerland Technical College. The school came in at #3 on this year’s Most Popular Undergraduate Certificate Trade Schools in Utah list. Bridgerland Technical College is a small public school located in Logan, Utah that handed out 523 undergraduate certificates in 2021-2022.

Dixie Technical College landed the #6 spot in the 2023 rankings for the most popular undergraduate certificate trade school programs. Located in Saint George, Utah, the small public school handed out 338 undergraduate certificate awards in 2021-2022.
Of those students who received their degree, 38% were women.
Salt Lake Community College landed the #7 spot in the 2023 rankings for the most popular undergraduate certificate trade school programs. Salt Lake Community College is a public institution located in Salt Lake City, Utah. The school has a large population, and it awarded 1,205 undergraduate certificates in 2021-2022.
Full-time students from Utah pay an average of $4,257 in tuition and fees if they choose to attend Salt Lake Community College. If you are from out of state, expect to pay an average of $13,701. On average, undergraduate certificate students take out $7,970 in loans while pursuing their degree. Of those students who received their degree, 53% were women.

Taylor Andrews Academy of Hair Design-West Jordan came in at #8 in this year’s edition of the Most Popular Undergraduate Certificate Trade Schools in Utah ranking. Located in West Jordan, Utah, the very small private for-profit school awarded 106 diplomas to qualifed undergraduate certificate students in 2021-2022.
By the time they get their undergraduate certificate, students from this school have racked up an average of $10,488 in student loans. Of those students who received their degree, 85% were women.

In-state students pay an average of $8,305 in tuition and fees if they attend USU full time. If you are from out of state, expect to pay an average of $24,223. On average, undergraduate certificate students take out $11,696 in loans while pursuing their degree. Around 58% of those degree recipients were women.
One thing to take note of is that USU does offer online classes in some areas. Of all the undergraduates enrolled at the school during the 2020-2021 academic year, around 70% took at least some of their classes online.
Acaydia School of Aesthetics ranked #11 on this year’s Most Popular Undergraduate Certificate Trade Schools in Utah list. This very small private for-profit school is located in Provo, Utah, and it awarded 80 undergraduate certificates in 2021-2022.
Undergraduate Certificate recipients from Acaydia School of Aesthetics accumulate an average of $8,128 in student debt by the time they complete their degree. Around 100% of those degree recipients were women.
Uintah Basin Technical College did quite well in this year’s ranking of the most popular places for trade school students to get an undergraduate certificate. It came in at #12 on the list. Southwest Technical College ranked #18 on this year’s Most Popular Undergraduate Certificate Trade Schools in Utah list. This very small public school is located in Cedar City, Utah, and it awarded 77 undergraduate certificates in 2021-2022.

Tooele Technical College ranked #19 on this year’s Most Popular Undergraduate Certificate Trade Schools in Utah list. Located in Tooele, Utah, the very small public school awarded 98 diplomas to qualifed undergraduate certificate students in 2021-2022.
Around 63% of those degree recipients were women.
The Barber School came in at #20 in this year’s edition of the Most Popular Undergraduate Certificate Trade Schools in Utah ranking. Midvale, Utah is the setting for this very small institution of higher learning. The private for-profit school handed out undergraduate certificates to 58 students in 2021-2022.
By the time they get their undergraduate certificate, students from this school have racked up an average of $7,105 in student loans. Of those students who received their degree, 19% were women.
Healing Mountain Massage School ranked #20 on this year’s Most Popular Undergraduate Certificate Trade Schools in Utah list. Aveda Institute - Provo did quite well in this year’s ranking of the most popular places for trade school students to get an undergraduate certificate. It came in at #23 on the list.
