To assist you in seeing some of the education options that are available to you, Trade College Search has created its Most Popular Undergraduate Certificate Trade Schools in Utah ranking. Our analysis looked at 44 schools in Utah to see which undergraduate certificate programs were the most popular for trade school students. To create this ranking we looked at how many students graduated from each school on the list.

Our 2023 rankings named Mountainland Technical College the most popular school in Utah for trade school students working on their undergraduate certificate. Mountainland Technical College is a public institution located in Lehi, Utah. The school has a small population, and it awarded 563 undergraduate certificates in 2021-2022.
Of those students who received their degree, 69% were women.
A rank of #2 on this year’s list means Davis Technical College is a great place for trade school students working on their undergraduate certificate. Davis Tech is located in Kaysville, Utah and has a small student population. In 2021-2022, this school awarded 658 undergraduate certificates to qualified students.
Around 56% of those degree recipients were women.
Out of the 44 schools in Utah that were part of this year’s ranking, Bridgerland Technical College landed the # 3 spot on the list. Located in Logan, Utah, the small public school awarded 523 diplomas to qualifed undergraduate certificate students in 2021-2022.
Around 50% of those degree recipients were women.
One thing to take note of is that Bridgerland ATC does offer online classes in some areas. To give an idea of how popular online courses are at the school, 6% of undergraduates took at least one course online in 2020-2021.
Out of the 44 schools in Utah that were part of this year’s ranking, Ogden-Weber Technical College landed the # 4 spot on the list. Ogden-Weber Tech College is a small public school situated in Ogden, Utah. It awarded 459 undergraduate certificates in 2021-2022.
Around 55% of those degree recipients were women.
Some students may be able to take online classes at Ogden-Weber Tech College. During the 2020-2021 year, about 3% of the undergraduates at the school took at least one online course.
You’ll be in good company if you decide to attend Medspa Academies. It ranked #5 on our 2023 Most Popular Undergraduate Certificate Trade Schools in Utah list. Located in South Jordan, Utah, the very small private for-profit school awarded 196 diplomas to qualifed undergraduate certificate students in 2021-2022.
By the time they get their undergraduate certificate, students from this school have racked up an average of $9,624 in student loans. Of those students who received their degree, 99% were women.
Dixie Technical College did quite well in this year’s ranking of the most popular places for trade school students to get an undergraduate certificate. It came in at #6 on the list. This small public school is located in Saint George, Utah, and it awarded 338 undergraduate certificates in 2021-2022.
Of those students who received their degree, 38% were women.
Salt Lake Community College landed the #7 spot in the 2023 rankings for the most popular undergraduate certificate trade school programs. This large public school is located in Salt Lake City, Utah, and it awarded 1,205 undergraduate certificates in 2021-2022.
Students from Utah who attend Salt Lake Community College full time pay an average of $4,257 in tuition and fees. Those students who come from outside the state pay an average of $13,701. On average, undergraduate certificate students take out $7,970 in loans while pursuing their degree. Of those students who received their degree, 53% were women.
Salt Lake Community College does have options available for those who want to take online classes. You will need to check with the school to see if they are available for your specific major. To give an idea of how popular online courses are at the school, 47% of undergraduates took at least one course online in 2020-2021.
Taylor Andrews Academy of Hair Design-West Jordan did quite well in this year’s ranking of the most popular places for trade school students to get an undergraduate certificate. It came in at #8 on the list. Taylor Andrews Academy - West Jordan is located in West Jordan, Utah and has a very small student population. In 2021-2022, this school awarded 106 undergraduate certificates to qualified students.
On average, undergraduate certificate students take out $10,488 in loans while pursuing their degree. Of those students who received their degree, 85% were women.
Fortis College - Salt Lake City did quite well in this year’s ranking of the most popular places for trade school students to get an undergraduate certificate. It came in at #9 on the list. This very small private for-profit school is located in Salt Lake City, Utah, and it awarded 76 undergraduate certificates in 2021-2022.
Fortis College - Salt Lake City does not offer a discount to in-state students, so the average tuition and fees for all undergraduates is $16,255. This amount may be reduced if you receive financial aid. By the time they get their undergraduate certificate, students from this school have racked up an average of $10,571 in student loans. Around 39% of those degree recipients were women.
Online courses are available at Fortis College - Salt Lake City, but you will need to check with the school to see if they are available for your field of interest. To give an idea of how popular online courses are at the school, 53% of undergraduates took at least one course online in 2020-2021.
Utah State University ranked #10 on this year’s Most Popular Undergraduate Certificate Trade Schools in Utah list. Located in Logan, Utah, the large public school awarded 97 diplomas to qualifed undergraduate certificate students in 2021-2022.
The average in-state tuition and fees for students at USU is $8,305. If you are from out of state, expect to pay an average of $24,223. On average, undergraduate certificate students take out $11,696 in loans while pursuing their degree. Of those students who received their degree, 58% were women.
You may have the opportunity to take online classes at USU. To give an idea of how popular online courses are at the school, 70% of undergraduates took at least one course online in 2020-2021.
With a ranking of #11, Acaydia School of Aesthetics did quite well on this year’s most popular schools for trade school students working on their undergraduate certificate. Located in Provo, Utah, the very small private for-profit school handed out 80 undergraduate certificate awards in 2021-2022.
By the time they get their undergraduate certificate, students from this school have racked up an average of $8,128 in student loans. Of those students who received their degree, 100% were women.
Uintah Basin Technical College did quite well in this year’s ranking of the most popular places for trade school students to get an undergraduate certificate. It came in at #12 on the list. Located in Roosevelt, Utah, the small public school awarded 80 diplomas to qualifed undergraduate certificate students in 2021-2022.

Taylor Andrews Academy of Hair Design-Provo came in at #13 in this year’s edition of the Most Popular Undergraduate Certificate Trade Schools in Utah ranking. This very small private for-profit school is located in Provo, Utah, and it awarded 103 undergraduate certificates in 2021-2022.

Avalon School of Cosmetology - Layton came in at #14 in this year’s edition of the Most Popular Undergraduate Certificate Trade Schools in Utah ranking. Taylor Andrews is a very small private for-profit school situated in St. George, Utah. It awarded 90 undergraduate certificates in 2021-2022.

Paul Mitchell the School Salt Lake City ranked #16 on this year’s Most Popular Undergraduate Certificate Trade Schools in Utah list. Located in Holladay, Utah, the very small private for-profit school awarded 91 diplomas to qualifed undergraduate certificate students in 2021-2022.
Of those students who received their degree, 79% were women.
Utah Valley University landed the #17 spot in the 2023 rankings for the most popular undergraduate certificate trade school programs. UVU is located in Orem, Utah and has a large student population. In 2021-2022, this school awarded 3,432 undergraduate certificates to qualified students.
The average in-state tuition and fees for students at UVU is $6,270. Out-of-state students pay an average of $17,830. Around 34% of those degree recipients were women.
If you are interested in distance education, be sure to check with the school since UVU does offer online classes for certain majors. During the 2020-2021 year, about 57% of the undergraduates at the school took at least one online course.
Southwest Technical College ranked #18 on this year’s Most Popular Undergraduate Certificate Trade Schools in Utah list. Located in Cedar City, Utah, the very small public school awarded 77 diplomas to qualifed undergraduate certificate students in 2021-2022.
Around 61% of those degree recipients were women.
Tooele Technical College ranked #19 on this year’s Most Popular Undergraduate Certificate Trade Schools in Utah list. Tooele Technical College is a very small public school situated in Tooele, Utah. It awarded 98 undergraduate certificates in 2021-2022.
Of those students who received their degree, 63% were women.
The Barber School did quite well in this year’s ranking of the most popular places for trade school students to get an undergraduate certificate. It came in at #20 on the list. The Barber School is a very small private for-profit school situated in Midvale, Utah. It awarded 58 undergraduate certificates in 2021-2022.
By the time they get their undergraduate certificate, students from this school have racked up an average of $7,105 in student loans. Around 19% of those degree recipients were women.
Healing Mountain Massage School did quite well in this year’s ranking of the most popular places for trade school students to get an undergraduate certificate. It came in at #20 on the list. Healing Mtn. School is a very small private for-profit school situated in Salt Lake City, Utah. It awarded 66 undergraduate certificates in 2021-2022.
