Our 2023 rankings named Apex Technical School the most popular school in the Middle Atlantic Region for trade school students working on their undergraduate certificate. Apex Technical School is a private for-profit institution located in Long Island City, New York. The school has a small population, and it awarded 915 undergraduate certificates in 2021-2022.
By the time they get their undergraduate certificate, students from this school have racked up an average of $8,224 in student loans. Of those students who received their degree, 4% were women.
Out of the 451 schools in the Middle Atlantic Region that were part of this year’s ranking, Lincoln Technical Institute - Union landed the # 2 spot on the list. On average, undergraduate certificate students take out $11,582 in loans while pursuing their degree. Around 2% of those degree recipients were women.
You’ll be in good company if you decide to attend Community College of Allegheny County. It ranked #5 on our 2023 Most Popular Undergraduate Certificate Trade Schools in the Middle Atlantic Region list. Located in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, the fairly large public school handed out 539 undergraduate certificate awards in 2021-2022.

Wayne, New Jersey is the setting for this very small institution of higher learning. The private for-profit school handed out undergraduate certificates to 307 students in 2021-2022.
Undergraduate Certificate recipients from Fortis Institute - Wayne accumulate an average of $10,517 in student debt by the time they complete their degree. Of those students who received their degree, 66% were women.
One thing to take note of is that Fortis Institute - Wayne does offer online classes in some areas. Of all the undergraduates enrolled at the school during the 2020-2021 academic year, around 21% took at least some of their classes online.
Lincoln Technical Institute - Allentown landed the #17 spot in the 2023 rankings for the most popular undergraduate certificate trade school programs. Located in Allentown, Pennsylvania, the very small private for-profit school awarded 228 diplomas to qualifed undergraduate certificate students in 2021-2022.
Undergraduate Certificate recipients from Lincoln Tech - Allentown accumulate an average of $12,737 in student debt by the time they complete their degree. Of those students who received their degree, 93% were women.
Lincoln Technical Institute - Whitestone did quite well in this year’s ranking of the most popular places for trade school students to get an undergraduate certificate. It came in at #18 on the list. Lincoln Tech - Whitestone is a private for-profit institution located in Whitestone, New York. The school has a very small population, and it awarded 333 undergraduate certificates in 2021-2022.

With a ranking of #19, Universal Technical Institute Bloomfield did quite well on this year’s most popular schools for trade school students working on their undergraduate certificate. Baltimore, Maryland is the setting for this very small institution of higher learning. The private for-profit school handed out undergraduate certificates to 312 students in 2021-2022.

New York Medical Career Training Center is a very small private for-profit school located in Flushing, New York that handed out 200 undergraduate certificates in 2021-2022.
On average, undergraduate certificate students take out $12,371 in loans while pursuing their degree. Around 93% of those degree recipients were women.
With a ranking of #25, Institute of Medical Careers did quite well on this year’s most popular schools for trade school students working on their undergraduate certificate. Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania is the setting for this very small institution of higher learning. The private for-profit school handed out undergraduate certificates to 217 students in 2021-2022.
Undergraduate Certificate recipients from Institute of Medical Careers accumulate an average of $10,811 in student debt by the time they complete their degree. Around 94% of those degree recipients were women.
