To create this ranking we looked at how many students graduated from each school on the list.

Our 2023 rankings named Apex Technical School the most popular school in the Middle Atlantic Region for trade school students working on their undergraduate certificate. Long Island City, New York is the setting for this small institution of higher learning. The private for-profit school handed out undergraduate certificates to 915 students in 2021-2022.
On average, undergraduate certificate students take out $8,224 in loans while pursuing their degree. Of those students who received their degree, 4% were women.
Out of the 451 schools in the Middle Atlantic Region that were part of this year’s ranking, Lincoln Technical Institute - Union landed the # 2 spot on the list. Union, New Jersey is the setting for this small institution of higher learning. The private for-profit school handed out undergraduate certificates to 876 students in 2021-2022.
Undergraduate Certificate recipients from Lincoln Tech - Union accumulate an average of $12,634 in student debt by the time they complete their degree. Of those students who received their degree, 3% were women.
You’ll be in good company if you decide to attend Hunter Business School. It ranked #3 on our 2023 Most Popular Undergraduate Certificate Trade Schools in the Middle Atlantic Region list. Hunter Business School is a very small private for-profit school located in Levittown, New York that handed out 517 undergraduate certificates in 2021-2022.
By the time they get their undergraduate certificate, students from this school have racked up an average of $10,788 in student loans. Around 77% of those degree recipients were women.
The excellent undergraduate certificate programs at Lincoln Technical Institute - Mahwah helped the school earn the #4 place on this year’s ranking of the most popular trade school schools in the Middle Atlantic Region . On average, undergraduate certificate students take out $10,517 in loans while pursuing their degree. Of those students who received their degree, 66% were women.
You may have the opportunity to take online classes at Fortis Institute - Wayne. Of all the undergraduates enrolled at the school during the 2020-2021 academic year, around 21% took at least some of their classes online.
Lincoln Technical Institute - Allentown came in at #17 in this year’s edition of the Most Popular Undergraduate Certificate Trade Schools in the Middle Atlantic Region ranking. Located in Allentown, Pennsylvania, the very small private for-profit school awarded 228 diplomas to qualifed undergraduate certificate students in 2021-2022.
On average, undergraduate certificate students take out $12,737 in loans while pursuing their degree. Of those students who received their degree, 93% were women.

Isabella Graham Hart School of Practical Nursing ranked #21 on this year’s Most Popular Undergraduate Certificate Trade Schools in the Middle Atlantic Region list. This very small private not-for-profit school is located in Rochester, New York, and it awarded 171 undergraduate certificates in 2021-2022.

Lincoln Technical Institute - Moorestown ranked #23 on this year’s Most Popular Undergraduate Certificate Trade Schools in the Middle Atlantic Region list. With a ranking of #25, Institute of Medical Careers did quite well on this year’s most popular schools for trade school students working on their undergraduate certificate. Institute of Medical Careers is located in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and has a very small student population. In 2021-2022, this school awarded 217 undergraduate certificates to qualified students.
