This report analyzed 10 schools in New Hampshire to see which ones were the most popular bachelor's degree programs for trade school students. To create this ranking we looked at how many students graduated from each school on the list.

Our analysis found Southern New Hampshire University to be the most popular school for trade school students who want to pursue a bachelor’s degree in New Hampshire. SNHU is a private not-for-profit institution located in Manchester, New Hampshire. The school has a large population, and it awarded 18,173 bachelor’s degrees in 2021-2022.
The average tuition and fees at SNHU is $15,380. In-state students do not receive a discount, however you may be able to reduce your price if you receive financial aid. By the time they get their bachelor’s degree, students from this school have racked up an average of $23,471 in student loans. Around 64% of those degree recipients were women.
Depending on your major, you may be able to take online classes at SNHU. To give an idea of how popular online courses are at the school, 96% of undergraduates took at least one course online in 2020-2021.
You’ll be in good company if you decide to attend Keene State College. It ranked #2 on our 2023 Most Popular Bachelor’s Degree Trade Schools in New Hampshire list. Keene State is a small public school situated in Keene, New Hampshire. It awarded 862 bachelor’s degrees in 2021-2022.

Durham, New Hampshire is the setting for this fairly large institution of higher learning. The public school handed out bachelor’s degrees to 3,145 students in 2021-2022.
In-state students pay an average of $19,024 in tuition and fees if they attend UNH full time. If you are from out of state, expect to pay an average of $37,934. Bachelor’s Degree recipients from UNH accumulate an average of $22,474 in student debt by the time they complete their degree. Around 56% of those degree recipients were women.
Online courses are available at UNH, but you will need to check with the school to see if they are available for your field of interest. During the 2020-2021 year, about 28% of the undergraduates at the school took at least one online course.

A rank of #3 on this year’s list means Franklin Pierce University is a great place for trade school students working on their bachelor’s degree. Franklin Pierce is a private not-for-profit institution located in Rindge, New Hampshire. The school has a small population, and it awarded 334 bachelor’s degrees in 2021-2022.
If you don’t receive financial aid, you can expect a bill for $43,155 to cover tuition and fees at Franklin Pierce. The school does not offer an in-state discount. If you are interested in distance education, be sure to check with the school since UNH Manchester does offer online classes for certain majors. Of all the undergraduates enrolled at the school during the 2020-2021 academic year, around 84% took at least some of their classes online.
Plymouth State University did quite well in this year’s ranking of the most popular places for trade school students to get a bachelor’s degree. It came in at #7 on the list. Located in Plymouth, New Hampshire, the small public school handed out 772 bachelor’s degree awards in 2021-2022.
In-state students pay an average of $14,492 in tuition and fees if they attend Plymouth State full time. Out-of-state students pay an average of $24,872. Bachelor’s Degree recipients from Plymouth State accumulate an average of $24,581 in student debt by the time they complete their degree. Of those students who received their degree, 55% were women.

New England College came in at #8 in this year’s edition of the Most Popular Bachelor’s Degree Trade Schools in New Hampshire ranking. NEC is a private not-for-profit institution located in Henniker, New Hampshire. The school has a small population, and it awarded 340 bachelor’s degrees in 2021-2022.
NEC does not offer a discount to in-state students, so the average tuition and fees for all undergraduates is $27,054. This amount may be reduced if you receive financial aid. On average, bachelor’s degree students take out $28,270 in loans while pursuing their degree. Around 58% of those degree recipients were women.

With a ranking of #9, Colby - Sawyer College did quite well on this year’s most popular schools for trade school students working on their bachelor’s degree. Colby - Sawyer is located in New London, New Hampshire and has a very small student population. In 2021-2022, this school awarded 155 bachelor’s degrees to qualified students.
If you don’t receive financial aid, you can expect a bill for $47,164 to cover tuition and fees at Colby - Sawyer. The school does not offer an in-state discount. Bachelor’s Degree recipients from Colby - Sawyer accumulate an average of $24,399 in student debt by the time they complete their degree. Of those students who received their degree, 69% were women.
Colby - Sawyer does have options available for those who want to take online classes. You will need to check with the school to see if they are available for your specific major. During the 2020-2021 year, about 14% of the undergraduates at the school took at least one online course.
With a ranking of #10, Rivier University did quite well on this year’s most popular schools for trade school students working on their bachelor’s degree. Nashua, New Hampshire is the setting for this small institution of higher learning. The private not-for-profit school handed out bachelor’s degrees to 275 students in 2021-2022.
If you want to attend Rivier, expect to pay an average of $36,610 in tuition and fees. Of course, this could be reduced if you receive financial aid. Bachelor’s Degree recipients from Rivier accumulate an average of $25,788 in student debt by the time they complete their degree. Of those students who received their degree, 80% were women.
Rivier does offer online classes for certain degree levels. Of all the undergraduates enrolled at the school during the 2020-2021 academic year, around 37% took at least some of their classes online.
