To create this ranking we looked at how many students graduated from each school on the list.

Our analysis found Pennsylvania College of Technology to be the most popular school for trade school students who want to pursue a bachelor’s degree in Pennsylvania. Located in Williamsport, Pennsylvania, the small public school awarded 557 diplomas to qualifed bachelor’s degree students in 2021-2022.
Students from Pennsylvania who attend Penn College full time pay an average of $17,940 in tuition and fees. Those students who come from outside the state pay an average of $25,680. On average, bachelor’s degree students take out $29,038 in loans while pursuing their degree. Of those students who received their degree, 36% were women.
Some students may be able to take online classes at Penn College. Of all the undergraduates enrolled at the school during the 2020-2021 academic year, around 47% took at least some of their classes online.
The excellent bachelor’s degree programs at Temple University helped the school earn the #2 place on this year’s ranking of the most popular trade school schools in Pennsylvania. Temple is a public institution located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The school has a large population, and it awarded 5,943 bachelor’s degrees in 2021-2022.
The average in-state tuition and fees for students at Temple is $21,097. Those students who come from outside the state pay an average of $35,603. Thomas Jefferson University is a medium-sized private not-for-profit school situated in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. It awarded 1,113 bachelor’s degrees in 2021-2022.

Misericordia University is located in Dallas, Pennsylvania and has a small student population. In 2021-2022, this school awarded 453 bachelor’s degrees to qualified students.

Drexel University came in at #7 in this year’s edition of the Most Popular Bachelor’s Degree Trade Schools in Pennsylvania ranking. Drexel University is a large private not-for-profit school located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania that handed out 3,797 bachelor’s degrees in 2021-2022.

Indiana University of Pennsylvania - Main Campus came in at #8 in this year’s edition of the Most Popular Bachelor’s Degree Trade Schools in Pennsylvania ranking. IUP is located in Indiana, Pennsylvania and has a medium-sized student population. In 2021-2022, this school awarded 1,668 bachelor’s degrees to qualified students.
Students from Pennsylvania who attend IUP full time pay an average of $11,320 in tuition and fees. Those students who come from outside the state pay an average of $18,927. Bachelor’s Degree recipients from IUP accumulate an average of $25,943 in student debt by the time they complete their degree. Of those students who received their degree, 60% were women.

This medium-sized public school is located in Millersville, Pennsylvania, and it awarded 1,425 bachelor’s degrees in 2021-2022.

West Chester University of Pennsylvania landed the #12 spot in the 2023 rankings for the most popular bachelor’s degree trade school programs. This fairly large public school is located in West Chester, Pennsylvania, and it awarded 3,524 bachelor’s degrees in 2021-2022.
Full-time students from Pennsylvania pay an average of $10,527 in tuition and fees if they choose to attend WCUPA. If you are from out of state, expect to pay an average of $22,351. Around 63% of those degree recipients were women.
WCUPA does offer online classes for certain degree levels. To give an idea of how popular online courses are at the school, 32% of undergraduates took at least one course online in 2020-2021.
Duquesne University did quite well in this year’s ranking of the most popular places for trade school students to get a bachelor’s degree. It came in at #13 on the list. This medium-sized private not-for-profit school is located in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and it awarded 1,554 bachelor’s degrees in 2021-2022.
On average, bachelor’s degree students take out $23,299 in loans while pursuing their degree. Of those students who received their degree, 64% were women.

Messiah University ranked #15 on this year’s Most Popular Bachelor’s Degree Trade Schools in Pennsylvania list. Messiah is located in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania and has a small student population. In 2021-2022, this school awarded 592 bachelor’s degrees to qualified students.
If you don’t receive financial aid, you can expect a bill for $39,490 to cover tuition and fees at Messiah. The school does not offer an in-state discount.
