To help you arm yourself with the information you need to make your decision, Trade College Search has developed this Most Popular Associate Degree Trade Schools in Colorado ranking. This report analyzed 29 schools in Colorado to see which ones were the most popular associate degree programs for trade school students. To create this ranking we looked at how many students graduated from each school on the list.

Our analysis found Auguste Escoffier School of Culinary Arts - Boulder to be the most popular school for trade school students who want to pursue a associate degree in Colorado. Escoffier - Boulder is a private for-profit institution located in Boulder, Colorado. The school has a medium-sized population, and it awarded 770 associate degrees in 2021-2022.
On average, associate degree students take out $15,323 in loans while pursuing their degree. Of those students who received their degree, 62% were women.
If you are interested in distance education, be sure to check with the school since Escoffier - Boulder does offer online classes for certain majors. In fact, around 96% of the undergraduate population registered for at least one online class in 2020-2021.
Out of the 29 schools in Colorado that were part of this year’s ranking, Pueblo Community College landed the # 3 spot on the list. Pueblo Community College is located in Pueblo, Colorado and has a medium-sized student population. In 2021-2022, this school awarded 660 associate degrees to qualified students.
Full-time students from Colorado pay an average of $4,626 in tuition and fees if they choose to attend Pueblo Community College. Out-of-state students pay an average of $16,275. By the time they get their associate degree, students from this school have racked up an average of $14,253 in student loans. Of those students who received their degree, 70% were women.

A rank of #4 on this year’s list means Pikes Peak Community College is a great place for trade school students working on their associate degree. Located in Colorado Springs, Colorado, the fairly large public school awarded 1,611 diplomas to qualifed associate degree students in 2021-2022.
Students from Colorado who attend PPCC full time pay an average of $4,065 in tuition and fees. Those students who come from outside the state pay an average of $15,714. By the time they get their associate degree, students from this school have racked up an average of $12,660 in student loans. Of those students who received their degree, 63% were women.

Intellitec College - Colorado Springs did quite well in this year’s ranking of the most popular places for trade school students to get an associate degree. It came in at #8 on the list. Intellitec College - Colorado Springs is a private for-profit institution located in Colorado Springs, Colorado. The school has a very small population, and it awarded 72 associate degrees in 2021-2022.
On average, associate degree students take out $16,618 in loans while pursuing their degree. Around 8% of those degree recipients were women.
Aims Community College landed the #9 spot in the 2023 rankings for the most popular associate degree trade school programs. Greeley, Colorado is the setting for this medium-sized institution of higher learning. The public school handed out associate degrees to 686 students in 2021-2022.
Full-time students from Colorado pay an average of $2,954 in tuition and fees if they choose to attend Aims Community College. If you are from out of state, expect to pay an average of $10,850. With a ranking of #11, Front Range Community College did quite well on this year’s most popular schools for trade school students working on their associate degree. FRCC is located in Westminster, Colorado and has a fairly large student population. In 2021-2022, this school awarded 1,906 associate degrees to qualified students.
In-state students pay an average of $4,126 in tuition and fees if they attend FRCC full time. Out-of-state students pay an average of $15,776. Community College of Denver ranked #12 on this year’s Most Popular Associate Degree Trade Schools in Colorado list. CCD is located in Denver, Colorado and has a medium-sized student population. In 2021-2022, this school awarded 728 associate degrees to qualified students.

With a ranking of #15, Colorado School of Trades did quite well on this year’s most popular schools for trade school students working on their associate degree. This very small private for-profit school is located in Lakewood, Colorado, and it awarded 94 associate degrees in 2021-2022.
On average, associate degree students take out $16,452 in loans while pursuing their degree.
Intellitec College - Grand Junction did quite well in this year’s ranking of the most popular places for trade school students to get an associate degree. It came in at #16 on the list. Intellitec College - Grand Junction is located in Grand Junction, Colorado and has a small student population. In 2021-2022, this school awarded 77 associate degrees to qualified students.
By the time they get their associate degree, students from this school have racked up an average of $18,919 in student loans. Around 26% of those degree recipients were women.
With a ranking of #17, Lincoln College of Technology - Denver did quite well on this year’s most popular schools for trade school students working on their associate degree. Lincoln Tech - Denver is a small private for-profit school situated in Denver, Colorado. It awarded 36 associate degrees in 2021-2022.

With a ranking of #21, Colorado Northwestern Community College did quite well on this year’s most popular schools for trade school students working on their associate degree. CNCC is a small public school situated in Rangely, Colorado. It awarded 137 associate degrees in 2021-2022.
Full-time students from Colorado pay an average of $4,236 in tuition and fees if they choose to attend CNCC. Those students who come from outside the state pay an average of $6,740. Associate Degree recipients from CNCC accumulate an average of $12,923 in student debt by the time they complete their degree. Of those students who received their degree, 73% were women.
One thing to take note of is that CNCC does offer online classes in some areas. During the 2020-2021 year, about 25% of the undergraduates at the school took at least one online course.
Trinidad State Junior College did quite well in this year’s ranking of the most popular places for trade school students to get an associate degree. It came in at #22 on the list. Trinidad State Junior College is a small public school located in Trinidad, Colorado that handed out 241 associate degrees in 2021-2022.
The average in-state tuition and fees for students at Trinidad State Junior College is $5,240. If you are from out of state, expect to pay an average of $8,360.
