Our 2023 rankings named Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science Inc the most popular school in Pennsylvania for trade school students working on their associate degree. Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science Inc is a very small private not-for-profit school located in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania that handed out 81 associate degrees in 2021-2022.
On average, associate degree students take out $17,391 in loans while pursuing their degree. Of those students who received their degree, 67% were women.

You’ll be in good company if you decide to attend Harrisburg Area Community College. It ranked #3 on our 2023 Most Popular Online Associate Degree Trade Schools in Pennsylvania list. Located in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, the fairly large public school awarded 1,788 diplomas to qualifed associate degree students in 2021-2022.
Full-time students from Pennsylvania pay an average of $8,565 in tuition and fees if they choose to attend HACC. Those students who come from outside the state pay an average of $10,148. Pittsburgh Technical College does not offer a discount to in-state students, so the average tuition and fees for all undergraduates is $16,974. This amount may be reduced if you receive financial aid. By the time they get their associate degree, students from this school have racked up an average of $18,250 in student loans. Around 38% of those degree recipients were women.
