Our 2023 rankings named Utah State University the best school in Utah for trade school students working on their undergraduate certificate. USU is a public institution located in Logan, Utah. The school has a large population, and it awarded 97 undergraduate certificates in 2021-2022.
Full-time students from Utah pay an average of $8,305 in tuition and fees if they choose to attend USU. If you are from out of state, expect to pay an average of $24,223. On average, undergraduate certificate students take out $11,696 in loans while pursuing their degree.

This large public school is located in Salt Lake City, Utah, and it awarded 1,205 undergraduate certificates in 2021-2022.
Full-time students from Utah pay an average of $4,257 in tuition and fees if they choose to attend Salt Lake Community College. If you are from out of state, expect to pay an average of $13,701. Dixie State University came in at #7 in this year’s edition of the Best Undergraduate Certificate Trade Schools in Utah ranking. This fairly large public school is located in Saint George, Utah, and it awarded 553 undergraduate certificates in 2021-2022.
Students from Utah who attend Dixie State College full time pay an average of $6,074 in tuition and fees. Those students who come from outside the state pay an average of $17,642.
