Our 2023 rankings named Stephens College the best school in the Plains States Region for trade school students working on their degree. Stephens is a private not-for-profit institution located in Columbia, Missouri. The school has a very small population, and it awarded 152 degrees in 2021-2022.

With a ranking of #18, Dunwoody College of Technology did quite well on this year’s best schools for trade school students working. Minneapolis, Minnesota is the setting for this small institution of higher learning. The private not-for-profit school handed out degrees to 453 students in 2021-2022.
Washington University in St Louis came in at #19 in this year’s edition of the Best Trade Schools in the Plains States Region ranking. WUSTL is located in Saint Louis, Missouri and has a fairly large student population. In 2021-2022, this school awarded 6,224 degrees to qualified students.

North Dakota State University - Main Campus landed the #21 spot in the 2023 rankings for the best trade school programs. This fairly large public school is located in Fargo, North Dakota, and it awarded 3,143 degrees in 2021-2022.
With a ranking of #22, Rockhurst University did quite well on this year’s best schools for trade school students working. Rockhurst University is a small private not-for-profit school located in Kansas City, Missouri that handed out 1,079 degrees in 2021-2022.
With a ranking of #23, St Catherine University did quite well on this year’s best schools for trade school students working. Located in Saint Paul, Minnesota, the small private not-for-profit school awarded 1,399 diplomas to qualifed students in 2021-2022.
Northwest Iowa Community College came in at #24 in this year’s edition of the Best Trade Schools in the Plains States Region ranking. Northwest Iowa Community College is a small public school situated in Sheldon, Iowa. It awarded 356 degrees in 2021-2022.
