Our analysis found Clovis Community College to be the best school for trade school students who want to pursue a basic certificate in New Mexico. Located in Clovis, New Mexico, the small public school handed out 365 basic certificate awards in 2021-2022.
In-state students pay an average of $1,736 in tuition and fees if they attend Clovis Community College full time. Out-of-state students pay an average of $3,224.
Clovis Community College does offer online classes for certain degree levels. During the 2020-2021 year, about 56% of the undergraduates at the school took at least one online course.
You’ll join some of the best and brightest minds around you if you attend New Mexico State University - Dona Ana. The school came in at #2 on this year’s Best Basic Certificate Trade Schools in New Mexico list. Located in Las Cruces, New Mexico, the medium-sized public school handed out 77 basic certificate awards in 2021-2022.
Students from New Mexico who attend NMSU Dona Ana full time pay an average of $2,238 in tuition and fees. Those students who come from outside the state pay an average of $5,880.

Located in Gallup, New Mexico, the small public school awarded 27 diplomas to qualifed basic certificate students in 2021-2022.
In-state students pay an average of $2,646 in tuition and fees if they attend UNM Gallup full time. Those students who come from outside the state pay an average of $5,422.

You may have the opportunity to take online classes at SJC. In 2020-2021 about 59% of the undergraduate students at the school chose to take one or more online courses.
Central New Mexico Community College ranked #8 on this year’s Best Basic Certificate Trade Schools in New Mexico list. CNM is a fairly large public school situated in Albuquerque, New Mexico. It awarded 2,764 basic certificates in 2021-2022.
Full-time students from New Mexico pay an average of $1,858 in tuition and fees if they choose to attend CNM. Out-of-state students pay an average of $7,978.

Eastern New Mexico University - Roswell Campus came in at #9 in this year’s edition of the Best Basic Certificate Trade Schools in New Mexico ranking. ENMU - Roswell Campus is located in Roswell, New Mexico and has a small student population. In 2021-2022, this school awarded 227 basic certificates to qualified students.
The average in-state tuition and fees for students at ENMU - Roswell Campus is $2,424. Out-of-state students pay an average of $5,616.
