You’ll join some of the best and brightest minds around you if you attend Hostos Community College. The school came in at #4 on this year’s Best Associate Degree Trade Schools in New York list. Hostos Community College is a small public school located in Bronx, New York that handed out 921 associate degrees in 2021-2022.
Full-time students from New York pay an average of $5,208 in tuition and fees if they choose to attend Hostos. Out-of-state students pay an average of $8,088. Associate Degree recipients from Hostos accumulate an average of $11,429 in student debt by the time they complete their degree.

With a ranking of #7, Vaughn College of Aeronautics and Technology did quite well on this year’s best schools for trade school students working on their associate degree. Flushing, New York is the setting for this small institution of higher learning. The private not-for-profit school handed out associate degrees to 162 students in 2021-2022.
If you want to attend Vaughn College of Aeronautics and Technology, expect to pay an average of $27,730 in tuition and fees. Of course, this could be reduced if you receive financial aid. On average, associate degree students take out $20,281 in loans while pursuing their degree.

Farmingdale State College did quite well in this year’s ranking of the best places for trade school students to get an associate degree. It came in at #8 on the list. Farmingdale State College is a medium-sized public school located in Farmingdale, New York that handed out 250 associate degrees in 2021-2022.
The average in-state tuition and fees for students at SUNY College of Technology at Farmingdale is $8,576. Out-of-state students pay an average of $18,486. On average, associate degree students take out $11,334 in loans while pursuing their degree.

Orange County Community College ranked #14 on this year’s Best Associate Degree Trade Schools in New York list. Located in Middletown, New York, the small public school handed out 709 associate degree awards in 2021-2022.
Full-time students from New York pay an average of $6,262 in tuition and fees if they choose to attend SUNY Orange. Those students who come from outside the state pay an average of $11,806. Associate Degree recipients from SUNY Orange accumulate an average of $12,570 in student debt by the time they complete their degree.

Dutchess Community College did quite well in this year’s ranking of the best places for trade school students to get an associate degree. It came in at #15 on the list. DCC is a medium-sized public school situated in Poughkeepsie, New York. It awarded 811 associate degrees in 2021-2022.
The average in-state tuition and fees for students at DCC is $5,174. Those students who come from outside the state pay an average of $9,774. By the time they get their associate degree, students from this school have racked up an average of $11,428 in student loans.

LaGuardia Community College is a fairly large public school located in Long Island City, New York that handed out 2,562 associate degrees in 2021-2022.

With a ranking of #18, Villa Maria College did quite well on this year’s best schools for trade school students working on their associate degree. Located in Buffalo, New York, the very small private not-for-profit school handed out 28 associate degree awards in 2021-2022.
