This report analyzed 117 schools in the United States to see which ones were the most popular basic certificate programs for trade school students. To create this ranking we looked at how many students graduated from the Carpentry program at each school on the list.

Our 2023 rankings named Jefferson Community and Technical College the most popular school in the United States for carpentry students working on their basic certificate. Jefferson Community and Technical College is a large public school located in the large city of Louisville.

Of the 81 students majoring in carpentry at Jefferson Community and Technical College, 89% are male and 11% are female.

You’ll be in good company if you decide to attend Maysville Community and Technical College. It ranked #2 on our 2023 Most Popular Carpentry Basic Certificate Trade Schools list. Maysville Community and Technical College is a small public school located in the rural area of Maysville.
