Bangor, Maine is the setting for this small institution of higher learning. The public school handed out undergraduate certificates to 78 students in 2021-2022.
Students from Maine who attend Eastern Maine Community College full time pay an average of $3,877 in tuition and fees. Those students who come from outside the state pay an average of $6,757. University of Maine at Augusta landed the #12 spot in the 2023 rankings for the most popular undergraduate certificate trade school programs. Located in Augusta, Maine, the small public school handed out 36 undergraduate certificate awards in 2021-2022.
Students from Maine who attend UMA full time pay an average of $8,378 in tuition and fees. Out-of-state students pay an average of $19,778. Maine College of Health Professions landed the #13 spot in the 2023 rankings for the most popular undergraduate certificate trade school programs. Located in Lewiston, Maine, the very small private not-for-profit school handed out 23 undergraduate certificate awards in 2021-2022.
MCHP does not offer a discount to in-state students, so the average tuition and fees for all undergraduates is $16,238. This amount may be reduced if you receive financial aid. Of those students who received their degree, 83% were women.
MCHP is one of the schools on our list that is primarily online. Each undergraduate student at the school took at least one class online.
Central Maine Community College ranked #14 on this year’s Most Popular Undergraduate Certificate Trade Schools in Maine list. Central Maine Technical College is a small public school situated in Auburn, Maine. It awarded 26 undergraduate certificates in 2021-2022.
In-state students pay an average of $3,760 in tuition and fees if they attend Central Maine Technical College full time. If you are from out of state, expect to pay an average of $6,640. Of those students who received their degree, 31% were women.

University of Maine at Fort Kent did quite well in this year’s ranking of the most popular places for trade school students to get an undergraduate certificate. It came in at #15 on the list.
The average in-state tuition and fees for students at UMFK is $8,542. Those students who come from outside the state pay an average of $13,312.
If you are interested in distance education, be sure to check with the school since UMFK does offer online classes for certain majors. To give an idea of how popular online courses are at the school, 63% of undergraduates took at least one course online in 2020-2021.
