To assist you in seeing some of the education options that are available to you, Trade College Search has created its Most Popular Trade Schools in the New England Region ranking. This report analyzed 231 schools in the New England Region to see which ones were the most popular programs for trade school students. To create this ranking we looked at how many students graduated from each school on the list.

Our 2023 rankings named Southern New Hampshire University the most popular school in the New England Region for trade school students working on their degree. Southern New Hampshire University is a large private not-for-profit school located in Manchester, New Hampshire that handed out 29,238 degrees in 2021-2022.
By the time they get their degree, students from this school have racked up an average of $29,420 in student loans. For those students on a 10-year repayment plan, the average payment due each month is around $403. During the early years of their career, SNHU graduates make an average of $46,640 annually. Around 65% of those degree recipients were women.
You’ll be in good company if you decide to attend Porter and Chester Institute of Stratford. It ranked #2 on our 2023 Most Popular Trade Schools in the New England Region list. Located in Bridgeport, Connecticut, the small private for-profit school awarded 967 diplomas to qualifed students in 2021-2022.

Once they receive their degree, UCONN graduates enter the workforce, making an average salary of $51,207 during the early year of their career. Of those students who received their degree, 56% were women.
North Shore Community College ranked #21 on this year’s Most Popular Trade Schools in the New England Region list. Located in Danvers, Massachusetts, the small public school awarded 887 diplomas to qualifed students in 2021-2022.
On average, students take out $11,884 in loans while pursuing their degree. Once they receive their degree, North Shore Community College graduates enter the workforce, making an average salary of $42,262 during the early year of their career. Around 68% of those degree recipients were women.
Lincoln Technical Institute - New Britain landed the #22 spot in the 2023 rankings for the most popular trade school programs. Lincoln Tech - New Britain is located in New Britain, Connecticut and has a very small student population. In 2021-2022, this school awarded 279 degrees to qualified students.
