To create this ranking we looked at how many students graduated from each school on the list.

Our 2023 rankings named Mountainland Technical College the most popular school in Utah for trade school students working on their basic certificate. Mountainland Technical College is a small public school located in Lehi, Utah that handed out 1,714 basic certificates in 2021-2022.

A rank of #2 on this year’s list means Davis Technical College is a great place for trade school students working on their basic certificate. Davis Tech is a small public school situated in Kaysville, Utah. It awarded 865 basic certificates in 2021-2022.
Of those students who received their degree, 62% were women.

Southwest Technical College came in at #7 in this year’s edition of the Most Popular Basic Certificate Trade Schools in Utah ranking. Located in Cedar City, Utah, the very small public school awarded 322 diplomas to qualifed basic certificate students in 2021-2022.

Snow College ranked #8 on this year’s Most Popular Basic Certificate Trade Schools in Utah list. Located in Ephraim, Utah, the medium-sized public school awarded 239 diplomas to qualifed basic certificate students in 2021-2022.

With a ranking of #10, Cameo College of Essential Beauty did quite well on this year’s most popular schools for trade school students working on their basic certificate. Located in Murray, Utah, the very small private for-profit school handed out 184 basic certificate awards in 2021-2022.

Dixie State University ranked #11 on this year’s Most Popular Basic Certificate Trade Schools in Utah list. Dixie State College is a fairly large public school situated in Saint George, Utah. It awarded 413 basic certificates in 2021-2022.

Top Nails & Hair Beauty School ranked #12 on this year’s Most Popular Basic Certificate Trade Schools in Utah list. Located in Taylorsville, Utah, the very small private for-profit school handed out 166 basic certificate awards in 2021-2022.

Tooele Technical College came in at #13 in this year’s edition of the Most Popular Basic Certificate Trade Schools in Utah ranking. Tooele Technical College is a public institution located in Tooele, Utah. The school has a very small population, and it awarded 190 basic certificates in 2021-2022.
