This report analyzed 118 schools in Pennsylvania to see which ones were the most popular basic certificate programs for trade school students. To create this ranking we looked at how many students graduated from each school on the list.

Our analysis found Pittsburgh Institute of Aeronautics to be the most popular school for trade school students who want to pursue a basic certificate in Pennsylvania. West Mifflin, Pennsylvania is the setting for this very small institution of higher learning. The private not-for-profit school handed out basic certificates to 143 students in 2021-2022.
If you don’t receive financial aid, you can expect a bill for $17,145 to cover tuition and fees at PIA. The school does not offer an in-state discount. Around 8% of those degree recipients were women.
