Our 2023 rankings named Concorde Career College - Portland the most popular school in Oregon for trade school students working on their basic certificate. Concorde Career College - Portland is a very small private for-profit school located in Portland, Oregon that handed out 220 basic certificates in 2021-2022.
Of those students who received their degree, 84% were women.
Concorde Career College - Portland is one of the schools on our list that is primarily online. Each undergraduate student at the school took at least one class online.
You’ll be in good company if you attend Rogue Community College. The school came in at #2 on this year’s Most Popular Basic Certificate Trade Schools in Oregon list. Located in Grants Pass, Oregon, the small public school handed out 208 basic certificate awards in 2021-2022.

Full-time students from Oregon pay an average of $4,810 in tuition and fees if they choose to attend Portland Community College. If you are from out of state, expect to pay an average of $9,670. Of those students who received their degree, 48% were women.

Out of the 41 schools in Oregon that were part of this year’s ranking, Mt. Hood Community College landed the # 4 spot on the list. Located in Gresham, Oregon, the medium-sized public school awarded 365 diplomas to qualifed basic certificate students in 2021-2022.
In-state students pay an average of $5,094 in tuition and fees if they attend MHCC full time. Those students who come from outside the state pay an average of $9,522. Around 41% of those degree recipients were women.

A rank of #5 on this year’s list means East West College of the Healing Arts is a great place for trade school students working on their basic certificate. This very small private for-profit school is located in Portland, Oregon, and it awarded 118 basic certificates in 2021-2022.

Central Oregon Community College did quite well in this year’s ranking of the most popular places for trade school students to get a basic certificate. It came in at #6 on the list. Klamath Community College landed the #7 spot in the 2023 rankings for the most popular basic certificate trade school programs. Klamath Community College is located in Klamath Falls, Oregon and has a small student population. In 2021-2022, this school awarded 112 basic certificates to qualified students.
In-state students pay an average of $4,713 in tuition and fees if they attend Klamath Community College full time. Those students who come from outside the state pay an average of $7,521. Of those students who received their degree, 43% were women.

With a ranking of #10, Aveda Institute - Portland did quite well on this year’s most popular schools for trade school students working on their basic certificate. Located in Portland, Oregon, the very small private for-profit school handed out 61 basic certificate awards in 2021-2022.

Northwest College School of Beauty - Eugene ranked #11 on this year’s Most Popular Basic Certificate Trade Schools in Oregon list. Located in Springfield, Oregon, the very small private for-profit school handed out 98 basic certificate awards in 2021-2022.

Phagans School of Hair Design is a private for-profit institution located in Happy Valley, Oregon. The school has a very small population, and it awarded 55 basic certificates in 2021-2022.
Around 84% of those degree recipients were women.
Sage School of Massage & Esthetics did quite well in this year’s ranking of the most popular places for trade school students to get a basic certificate. It came in at #25 on the list. Sage School of Massage & Esthetics is a very small private for-profit school situated in Bend, Oregon. It awarded 29 basic certificates in 2021-2022.
