This report analyzed 10 schools in Utah to see which ones were the most popular bachelor's degree programs for trade school students. To create this ranking we looked at how many students graduated from each school on the list.

Our analysis found Western Governors University to be the most popular school for trade school students who want to pursue a bachelor’s degree in Utah. Western Governors University is a large private not-for-profit school located in Salt Lake City, Utah that handed out 24,230 bachelor’s degrees in 2021-2022.

If you want to attend WGU, expect to pay an average of $8,010 in tuition and fees. Of course, this could be reduced if you receive financial aid. By the time they get their bachelor’s degree, students from this school have racked up an average of $16,244 in student loans. Of those students who received their degree, 68% were women.

If you are interested in distance education, WGU is an excellent choice, since the school is online.

Bachelor’s Degree recipients from WSU accumulate an average of $21,225 in student debt by the time they complete their degree. Of those students who received their degree, 60% were women.

Orem, Utah is the setting for this large institution of higher learning. The public school handed out bachelor’s degrees to 4,072 students in 2021-2022.

Full-time students from Utah pay an average of $6,270 in tuition and fees if they choose to attend UVU. Out-of-state students pay an average of $17,830. On average, bachelor’s degree students take out $19,494 in loans while pursuing their degree. Of those students who received their degree, 49% were women.

UVU does offer online classes for certain degree levels. In fact, around 57% of the undergraduate population registered for at least one online class in 2020-2021.

Full-time students from Utah pay an average of $8,305 in tuition and fees if they choose to attend USU. If you are from out of state, expect to pay an average of $24,223. By the time they get their bachelor’s degree, students from this school have racked up an average of $25,665 in student loans. Of those students who received their degree, 100% were women.

Bachelor’s Degree recipients from BYU accumulate an average of $14,480 in student debt by the time they complete their degree. Around 52% of those degree recipients were women.
