Our analysis found University of Maine to be the most popular school for trade school students who want to pursue a bachelor’s degree in Maine. Orono, Maine is the setting for this fairly large institution of higher learning. The public school handed out bachelor’s degrees to 2,047 students in 2021-2022.
The average in-state tuition and fees for students at UMaine is $12,136. Those students who come from outside the state pay an average of $33,736. Bachelor’s Degree recipients from UMaine accumulate an average of $23,354 in student debt by the time they complete their degree. Of those students who received their degree, 51% were women.

University of Maine at Farmington did quite well in this year’s ranking of the most popular places for trade school students to get a bachelor’s degree. It came in at #8 on the list. UMaine Farmington is a small public school situated in Farmington, Maine. It awarded 308 bachelor’s degrees in 2021-2022.

Beal College landed the #10 spot in the 2023 rankings for the most popular bachelor’s degree trade school programs. Bangor, Maine is the setting for this very small institution of higher learning. The private for-profit school handed out bachelor’s degrees to 9 students in 2021-2022.

Maine College of Health Professions landed the #11 spot in the 2023 rankings for the most popular bachelor’s degree trade school programs. Located in Lewiston, Maine, the very small private not-for-profit school handed out 4 bachelor’s degree awards in 2021-2022.
If you want to attend MCHP, expect to pay an average of $16,238 in tuition and fees. Of course, this could be reduced if you receive financial aid. Around 100% of those degree recipients were women.
MCHP is primarily an online school, so it is a great choice for returning adults and students who work full time.
