To assist you in seeing some of the education options that are available to you, Trade College Search has created its Most Popular Bachelor's Degree Trade Schools in the Middle Atlantic Region ranking. Our analysis looked at 211 schools in the Middle Atlantic Region to see which bachelor's degree programs were the most popular for trade school students. To create this ranking we looked at how many students graduated from each school on the list.

Our 2023 rankings named Stony Brook University the most popular school in the Middle Atlantic Region for trade school students working on their bachelor’s degree. This large public school is located in Stony Brook, New York, and it awarded 5,259 bachelor’s degrees in 2021-2022.
Students from New York who attend SUNY Stony Brook full time pay an average of $10,560 in tuition and fees. If you are from out of state, expect to pay an average of $28,480. By the time they get their bachelor’s degree, students from this school have racked up an average of $18,520 in student loans. Around 54% of those degree recipients were women.
Depending on your major, you may be able to take online classes at SUNY Stony Brook. In fact, around 75% of the undergraduate population registered for at least one online class in 2020-2021.
Out of the 211 schools in the Middle Atlantic Region that were part of this year’s ranking, New York City College of Technology landed the # 2 spot on the list. City Tech is a public institution located in Brooklyn, New York. The school has a fairly large population, and it awarded 1,416 bachelor’s degrees in 2021-2022.
The average in-state tuition and fees for students at City Tech is $7,320. Out-of-state students pay an average of $15,270. Bachelor’s Degree recipients from City Tech accumulate an average of $14,517 in student debt by the time they complete their degree. Around 43% of those degree recipients were women.
City Tech does offer online classes for certain degree levels. Of all the undergraduates enrolled at the school during the 2020-2021 academic year, around 96% took at least some of their classes online.
The excellent bachelor’s degree programs at Farmingdale State College helped the school earn the #3 place on this year’s ranking of the most popular trade school schools in the Middle Atlantic Region . Farmingdale State College is a medium-sized public school located in Farmingdale, New York that handed out 1,781 bachelor’s degrees in 2021-2022.
Full-time students from New York pay an average of $8,576 in tuition and fees if they choose to attend SUNY College of Technology at Farmingdale. Out-of-state students pay an average of $18,486. Bachelor’s Degree recipients from SUNY College of Technology at Farmingdale accumulate an average of $16,895 in student debt by the time they complete their degree. Of those students who received their degree, 42% were women.
SUNY College of Technology at Farmingdale does offer online classes for certain degree levels. In fact, around 65% of the undergraduate population registered for at least one online class in 2020-2021.
A rank of #4 on this year’s list means Rochester Institute of Technology is a great place for trade school students working on their bachelor’s degree. This fairly large private not-for-profit school is located in Rochester, New York, and it awarded 2,448 bachelor’s degrees in 2021-2022.
If you don’t receive financial aid, you can expect a bill for $53,538 to cover tuition and fees at RIT. The school does not offer an in-state discount. By the time they get their bachelor’s degree, students from this school have racked up an average of $24,050 in student loans. Of those students who received their degree, 35% were women.

Located in Galloway, New Jersey, the medium-sized public school handed out 2,152 bachelor’s degree awards in 2021-2022.
In-state students pay an average of $15,188 in tuition and fees if they attend Stockton State full time. If you are from out of state, expect to pay an average of $22,922. Bachelor’s Degree recipients from Stockton State accumulate an average of $21,779 in student debt by the time they complete their degree. Of those students who received their degree, 62% were women.

With a ranking of #6, Pennsylvania College of Technology did quite well on this year’s most popular schools for trade school students working on their bachelor’s degree. Located in Williamsport, Pennsylvania, the small public school awarded 557 diplomas to qualifed bachelor’s degree students in 2021-2022.
In-state students pay an average of $17,940 in tuition and fees if they attend Penn College full time. Those students who come from outside the state pay an average of $25,680. On average, bachelor’s degree students take out $29,038 in loans while pursuing their degree. Around 36% of those degree recipients were women.
Penn College does have options available for those who want to take online classes. You will need to check with the school to see if they are available for your specific major. To give an idea of how popular online courses are at the school, 47% of undergraduates took at least one course online in 2020-2021.
Excelsior University came in at #7 in this year’s edition of the Most Popular Bachelor’s Degree Trade Schools in the Middle Atlantic Region ranking. Excelsior University is a fairly large private not-for-profit school situated in Albany, New York. It awarded 2,668 bachelor’s degrees in 2021-2022.
By the time they get their bachelor’s degree, students from this school have racked up an average of $18,112 in student loans. Around 45% of those degree recipients were women.
Excelsior University is one of the schools on our list that is primarily online. Each undergraduate student at the school took at least one class online.
With a ranking of #8, York College did quite well on this year’s most popular schools for trade school students working on their bachelor’s degree. Located in Jamaica, New York, the medium-sized public school awarded 1,269 diplomas to qualifed bachelor’s degree students in 2021-2022.

Temple University landed the #9 spot in the 2023 rankings for the most popular bachelor’s degree trade school programs. Temple is a large public school situated in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. It awarded 5,943 bachelor’s degrees in 2021-2022.

In-state students pay an average of $10,818 in tuition and fees if they attend Towson full time. Those students who come from outside the state pay an average of $26,820. On average, bachelor’s degree students take out $19,046 in loans while pursuing their degree. Around 63% of those degree recipients were women.

Touro College landed the #11 spot in the 2023 rankings for the most popular bachelor’s degree trade school programs. Located in New York, New York, the fairly large private not-for-profit school handed out 1,354 bachelor’s degree awards in 2021-2022.
The average tuition and fees at Touro is $19,190. In-state students do not receive a discount, however you may be able to reduce your price if you receive financial aid. On average, bachelor’s degree students take out $19,416 in loans while pursuing their degree. Of those students who received their degree, 70% were women.
Depending on your major, you may be able to take online classes at Touro. In fact, around 70% of the undergraduate population registered for at least one online class in 2020-2021.
University of Maryland Global Campus came in at #12 in this year’s edition of the Most Popular Bachelor’s Degree Trade Schools in the Middle Atlantic Region ranking. Located in Adelphi, Maryland, the large public school handed out 7,982 bachelor’s degree awards in 2021-2022.
Students from Maryland who attend UMGC full time pay an average of $7,848 in tuition and fees. Those students who come from outside the state pay an average of $12,336. By the time they get their bachelor’s degree, students from this school have racked up an average of $22,533 in student loans. Of those students who received their degree, 47% were women.

With a ranking of #13, Thomas Jefferson University did quite well on this year’s most popular schools for trade school students working on their bachelor’s degree. Philadelphia, Pennsylvania is the setting for this medium-sized institution of higher learning. The private not-for-profit school handed out bachelor’s degrees to 1,113 students in 2021-2022.
If you don’t receive financial aid, you can expect a bill for $44,200 to cover tuition and fees at Thomas Jefferson University. The school does not offer an in-state discount. By the time they get their bachelor’s degree, students from this school have racked up an average of $24,261 in student loans. Of those students who received their degree, 78% were women.

Lehman College came in at #14 in this year’s edition of the Most Popular Bachelor’s Degree Trade Schools in the Middle Atlantic Region ranking. Located in Bronx, New York, the fairly large public school handed out 2,824 bachelor’s degree awards in 2021-2022.
Students from New York who attend Lehman full time pay an average of $7,410 in tuition and fees. Out-of-state students pay an average of $15,360. In-state students pay an average of $18,512 in tuition and fees if they attend NJIT full time. Those students who come from outside the state pay an average of $34,972. Bachelor’s Degree recipients from NJIT accumulate an average of $22,430 in student debt by the time they complete their degree. Of those students who received their degree, 24% were women.

The College at Brockport landed the #17 spot in the 2023 rankings for the most popular bachelor’s degree trade school programs. Brockport, New York is the setting for this medium-sized institution of higher learning. The public school handed out bachelor’s degrees to 1,733 students in 2021-2022.
The average in-state tuition and fees for students at SUNY Brockport is $8,620. Those students who come from outside the state pay an average of $18,530. Bachelor’s Degree recipients from SUNY Brockport accumulate an average of $20,471 in student debt by the time they complete their degree. Of those students who received their degree, 62% were women.

Misericordia University did quite well in this year’s ranking of the most popular places for trade school students to get a bachelor’s degree. It came in at #18 on the list. Located in Dallas, Pennsylvania, the small private not-for-profit school handed out 453 bachelor’s degree awards in 2021-2022.
If you want to attend Misericordia University, expect to pay an average of $36,842 in tuition and fees. Of course, this could be reduced if you receive financial aid. By the time they get their bachelor’s degree, students from this school have racked up an average of $26,437 in student loans. Around 69% of those degree recipients were women.

UPenn does not offer a discount to in-state students, so the average tuition and fees for all undergraduates is $63,452. This amount may be reduced if you receive financial aid. By the time they get their bachelor’s degree, students from this school have racked up an average of $16,106 in student loans. Of those students who received their degree, 55% were women.
