To create this ranking we looked at how many students graduated from each school on the list.

Our 2023 rankings named Southeast Community College Area the most popular school in Nebraska for trade school students working on their associate degree. This medium-sized public school is located in Lincoln, Nebraska, and it awarded 1,022 associate degrees in 2021-2022.
In-state students pay an average of $3,276 in tuition and fees if they attend Southeast Community College full time. If you are from out of state, expect to pay an average of $3,864. Associate Degree recipients from Southeast Community College accumulate an average of $14,132 in student debt by the time they complete their degree. Around 47% of those degree recipients were women.
If you are interested in distance education, be sure to check with the school since Southeast Community College does offer online classes for certain majors. During the 2020-2021 year, about 38% of the undergraduates at the school took at least one online course.
Out of the 15 schools in Nebraska that were part of this year’s ranking, Metropolitan Community College landed the # 2 spot on the list. This fairly large public school is located in Omaha, Nebraska, and it awarded 1,366 associate degrees in 2021-2022.

You’ll be in good company if you attend Central Community College. The school came in at #3 on this year’s Most Popular Associate Degree Trade Schools in Nebraska list. Grand Island, Nebraska is the setting for this medium-sized institution of higher learning. The public school handed out associate degrees to 698 students in 2021-2022.
Full-time students from Nebraska pay an average of $3,300 in tuition and fees if they choose to attend Central Community College. Out-of-state students pay an average of $4,710. By the time they get their associate degree, students from this school have racked up an average of $8,350 in student loans. Of those students who received their degree, 59% were women.
One thing to take note of is that Central Community College does offer online classes in some areas. Of all the undergraduates enrolled at the school during the 2020-2021 academic year, around 72% took at least some of their classes online.
You’ll be in good company if you attend Northeast Community College. The school came in at #4 on this year’s Most Popular Associate Degree Trade Schools in Nebraska list. Northeast Community College is a medium-sized public school located in Norfolk, Nebraska that handed out 683 associate degrees in 2021-2022.

Students from Nebraska who attend WNCC full time pay an average of $2,976 in tuition and fees. Out-of-state students pay an average of $3,072. Associate Degree recipients from WNCC accumulate an average of $10,537 in student debt by the time they complete their degree. Around 64% of those degree recipients were women.

Myotherapy Institute ranked #10 on this year’s Most Popular Associate Degree Trade Schools in Nebraska list. Myotherapy Institute is a very small private for-profit school located in Lincoln, Nebraska that handed out 5 associate degrees in 2021-2022.

NICC does have options available for those who want to take online classes. You will need to check with the school to see if they are available for your specific major. In 2020-2021 about 97% of the undergraduate students at the school chose to take one or more online courses.
Creighton University came in at #12 in this year’s edition of the Most Popular Associate Degree Trade Schools in Nebraska ranking. This medium-sized private not-for-profit school is located in Omaha, Nebraska, and it awarded 3 associate degrees in 2021-2022.
The average tuition and fees at Creighton is $45,638. In-state students do not receive a discount, however you may be able to reduce your price if you receive financial aid. Around 67% of those degree recipients were women.
You may have the opportunity to take online classes at Creighton. In fact, around 37% of the undergraduate population registered for at least one online class in 2020-2021.
With a ranking of #15, Bryan College of Health Sciences did quite well on this year’s most popular schools for trade school students working on their associate degree. This very small private not-for-profit school is located in Lincoln, Nebraska, and it awarded 1 associate degrees in 2021-2022.
If you want to attend Bryan College of Health Sciences, expect to pay an average of $17,870 in tuition and fees. Of course, this could be reduced if you receive financial aid. Around 100% of those degree recipients were women.
