Our 2023 rankings named Sonoran Desert Institute the most popular school in Arizona for trade school students working on their associate degree. Located in Tempe, Arizona, the small private for-profit school handed out 816 associate degree awards in 2021-2022.
If you want to attend Sonoran Desert Institute, expect to pay an average of $11,960 in tuition and fees. Of course, this could be reduced if you receive financial aid. On average, associate degree students take out $15,168 in loans while pursuing their degree. Of those students who received their degree, 2% were women.

You’ll be in good company if you decide to attend Universal Technical Institute - Avondale. It ranked #2 on our 2023 Most Popular Associate Degree Trade Schools in Arizona list. This small private for-profit school is located in Avondale, Arizona, and it awarded 828 associate degrees in 2021-2022.
