This report analyzed 19 schools in Oregon to see which ones were the most popular associate degree programs for trade school students. To create this ranking we looked at how many students graduated from each school on the list.

Portland Community College is located in Portland, Oregon and has a fairly large student population. In 2021-2022, this school awarded 3,267 associate degrees to qualified students.

Concorde Career College - Portland landed the #9 spot in the 2023 rankings for the most popular associate degree trade school programs. This very small private for-profit school is located in Portland, Oregon, and it awarded 60 associate degrees in 2021-2022.

Since Concorde Career College - Portland is primarily an online school, it is an excellent choice for undergraduate students who need more flexibility than what is offered at some other schools.
Klamath Community College landed the #10 spot in the 2023 rankings for the most popular associate degree trade school programs. Klamath Community College is a small public school situated in Klamath Falls, Oregon. It awarded 115 associate degrees in 2021-2022.

Oregon Institute of Technology ranked #12 on this year’s Most Popular Associate Degree Trade Schools in Oregon list. OIT is located in Klamath Falls, Oregon and has a small student population. In 2021-2022, this school awarded 31 associate degrees to qualified students.
The average in-state tuition and fees for students at OIT is $12,122. Those students who come from outside the state pay an average of $33,956. On average, associate degree students take out $12,209 in loans while pursuing their degree. Around 35% of those degree recipients were women.

Umpqua Community College did quite well in this year’s ranking of the most popular places for trade school students to get an associate degree. It came in at #13 on the list. Roseburg, Oregon is the setting for this small institution of higher learning. The public school handed out associate degrees to 268 students in 2021-2022.

The average in-state tuition and fees for students at Treasure Valley Community College is $5,650. Those students who come from outside the state pay an average of $6,005. Associate Degree recipients from Treasure Valley Community College accumulate an average of $17,953 in student debt by the time they complete their degree. The average in-state tuition and fees for students at TBCC is $4,536. If you are from out of state, expect to pay an average of $5,256. Around 71% of those degree recipients were women.

American College of Healthcare Sciences ranked #18 on this year’s Most Popular Associate Degree Trade Schools in Oregon list. American College of Healthcare Sciences is a very small private for-profit school located in Portland, Oregon that handed out 39 associate degrees in 2021-2022.
The average tuition and fees at American College of Healthcare Sciences is $10,928. In-state students do not receive a discount, however you may be able to reduce your price if you receive financial aid. By the time they get their associate degree, students from this school have racked up an average of $29,666 in student loans. Of those students who received their degree, 95% were women.
American College of Healthcare Sciences is one of the schools on our list that is primarily online. Each undergraduate student at the school took at least one class online.
Clatsop Community College landed the #19 spot in the 2023 rankings for the most popular associate degree trade school programs. Clatsop Community College is a very small public school located in Astoria, Oregon that handed out 86 associate degrees in 2021-2022.
The average in-state tuition and fees for students at Clatsop Community College is $4,230. Out-of-state students pay an average of $8,010. On average, associate degree students take out $15,032 in loans while pursuing their degree. Around 67% of those degree recipients were women.
