Our analysis looked at 49 schools in the Plains States Region to see which online bachelor's degree programs were the most popular for trade school students. To create this ranking we looked at how many students graduated from schools with online programs.

Our analysis found University of Missouri - Columbia to be the most popular school for trade school students who want to pursue a bachelor’s degree in the Plains States Region . This large public school is located in Columbia, Missouri, and it awarded 5,092 bachelor’s degrees in 2021-2022.
Students from Missouri who attend Mizzou full time pay an average of $11,981 in tuition and fees. Out-of-state students pay an average of $31,970. By the time they get their bachelor’s degree, students from this school have racked up an average of $20,445 in student loans. Around 57% of those degree recipients were women.

University of Kansas came in at #14 in this year’s edition of the Most Popular Online Bachelor’s Degree Trade Schools in the Plains States Region ranking. KU is a large public school situated in Lawrence, Kansas. It awarded 4,493 bachelor’s degrees in 2021-2022.
In-state students pay an average of $11,167 in tuition and fees if they attend KU full time. Out-of-state students pay an average of $28,035. Concorde Career Colleges landed the #19 spot in the 2023 rankings for the most popular bachelor’s degree trade school programs. Kansas City, Missouri is the setting for this very small institution of higher learning. The private for-profit school handed out bachelor’s degrees to 40 students in 2021-2022.

SLCHC is a very small private for-profit school situated in Fenton, Missouri. It awarded 47 bachelor’s degrees in 2021-2022.
On average, bachelor’s degree students take out $21,142 in loans while pursuing their degree. Of those students who received their degree, 89% were women.
Around 96% of the undergraduate population registered for at least one online class in 2020-2021.
