To create this ranking we looked at how many students graduated from schools with online programs.

Our 2023 rankings named University of Phoenix - Arizona the most popular school in the United States for trade school students working on their bachelor’s degree. UOPX - Arizona is located in Phoenix, Arizona and has a large student population. In 2021-2022, this school awarded 11,763 bachelor’s degrees to qualified students.
On average, bachelor’s degree students take out $37,858 in loans while pursuing their degree. Around 68% of those degree recipients were women.
In 2020-2021 about 100% of the undergraduate students at the school chose to take one or more online courses.
A rank of #2 on this year’s list means Southern New Hampshire University is a great place for trade school students working on their bachelor’s degree. Manchester, New Hampshire is the setting for this large institution of higher learning. The private not-for-profit school handed out bachelor’s degrees to 18,173 students in 2021-2022.
If you want to attend SNHU, expect to pay an average of $15,380 in tuition and fees. Of course, this could be reduced if you receive financial aid. Out of the 338 schools in the United States that were part of this year’s ranking, Western Governors University landed the # 4 spot on the list. WGU is located in Salt Lake City, Utah and has a large student population. In 2021-2022, this school awarded 24,230 bachelor’s degrees to qualified students.

Daytona Beach, Florida is the setting for this fairly large institution of higher learning. The private not-for-profit school handed out bachelor’s degrees to 1,648 students in 2021-2022.
The average tuition and fees at Embry-Riddle Worldwide is $11,185. In-state students do not receive a discount, however you may be able to reduce your price if you receive financial aid. On average, bachelor’s degree students take out $24,715 in loans while pursuing their degree. Around 13% of those degree recipients were women.

With a ranking of #6, University of South Florida - Main Campus did quite well on this year’s most popular schools for trade school students working on their bachelor’s degree. Located in Tampa, Florida, the large public school handed out 10,145 bachelor’s degree awards in 2021-2022.
The average in-state tuition and fees for students at USF Tampa is $6,410. If you are from out of state, expect to pay an average of $17,324. Bachelor’s Degree recipients from USF Tampa accumulate an average of $19,471 in student debt by the time they complete their degree. Around 61% of those degree recipients were women.

Columbia Southern University ranked #7 on this year’s Most Popular Online Bachelor’s Degree Trade Schools list. This fairly large private for-profit school is located in Orange Beach, Alabama, and it awarded 2,691 bachelor’s degrees in 2021-2022.
Columbia Southern University does not offer a discount to in-state students, so the average tuition and fees for all undergraduates is $6,015. This amount may be reduced if you receive financial aid. Grand Canyon University did quite well in this year’s ranking of the most popular places for trade school students to get a bachelor’s degree. It came in at #8 on the list. Located in Phoenix, Arizona, the large private for-profit school awarded 14,092 diplomas to qualifed bachelor’s degree students in 2021-2022.
Grand Canyon University does not offer a discount to in-state students, so the average tuition and fees for all undergraduates is $17,205. This amount may be reduced if you receive financial aid. With a ranking of #9, The University of Arizona Global Campus did quite well on this year’s most popular schools for trade school students working on their bachelor’s degree. The average in-state tuition and fees for students at UVU is $6,270. Out-of-state students pay an average of $17,830. By the time they get their bachelor’s degree, students from this school have racked up an average of $19,494 in student loans. Of those students who received their degree, 49% were women.
During the 2020-2021 year, about 57% of the undergraduates at the school took at least one online course.
ECPI University did quite well in this year’s ranking of the most popular places for trade school students to get a bachelor’s degree. It came in at #15 on the list. Virginia Beach, Virginia is the setting for this fairly large institution of higher learning. The private for-profit school handed out bachelor’s degrees to 1,287 students in 2021-2022.
If you want to attend ECPI University, expect to pay an average of $18,484 in tuition and fees. Of course, this could be reduced if you receive financial aid. Florida International University ranked #16 on this year’s Most Popular Online Bachelor’s Degree Trade Schools list. Located in Miami, Florida, the large public school awarded 13,617 diplomas to qualifed bachelor’s degree students in 2021-2022.
The average in-state tuition and fees for students at FIU is $6,565. Out-of-state students pay an average of $18,963. On average, bachelor’s degree students take out $19,051 in loans while pursuing their degree. Of those students who received their degree, 61% were women.

Excelsior University did quite well in this year’s ranking of the most popular places for trade school students to get a bachelor’s degree. It came in at #17 on the list. Excelsior University is a fairly large private not-for-profit school located in Albany, New York that handed out 2,668 bachelor’s degrees in 2021-2022.
Bachelor’s Degree recipients from Excelsior University accumulate an average of $18,112 in student debt by the time they complete their degree. Of those students who received their degree, 45% were women.

Capella University came in at #19 in this year’s edition of the Most Popular Online Bachelor’s Degree Trade Schools ranking. Capella University is located in Minneapolis, Minnesota and has a large student population. In 2021-2022, this school awarded 6,115 bachelor’s degrees to qualified students.
