Our analysis looked at 19 schools in Florida to see which online associate degree programs were the most popular for trade school students. To create this ranking we looked at how many students graduated from schools with online programs.

Our analysis found Ultimate Medical Academy - Clearwater to be the most popular school for trade school students who want to pursue a associate degree in Florida. This medium-sized private not-for-profit school is located in Clearwater, Florida, and it awarded 6,241 associate degrees in 2021-2022.
By the time they get their associate degree, students from this school have racked up an average of $17,203 in student loans. Around 97% of those degree recipients were women.
Of all the undergraduates enrolled at the school during the 2020-2021 academic year, around 100% took at least some of their classes online.
The excellent associate degree programs at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University - Worldwide helped the school earn the #2 place on this year’s ranking of the most popular trade school schools in Florida. Located in Daytona Beach, Florida, the fairly large private not-for-profit school awarded 598 diplomas to qualifed associate degree students in 2021-2022.

Located in St. Petersburg, Florida, the large public school awarded 3,899 diplomas to qualifed associate degree students in 2021-2022.

Associate Degree recipients from Indian River State College accumulate an average of $8,917 in student debt by the time they complete their degree. Around 64% of those degree recipients were women.

Daytona College ranked #13 on this year’s Most Popular Online Associate Degree Trade Schools in Florida list. Daytona College is a very small private for-profit school located in Ormond Beach, Florida that handed out 10 associate degrees in 2021-2022.

During the 2020-2021 year, about 13% of the undergraduates at the school took at least one online course.
ATA Career Education landed the #15 spot in the 2023 rankings for the most popular associate degree trade school programs. This very small private for-profit school is located in Spring Hill, Florida, and it awarded 21 associate degrees in 2021-2022.
If you want to attend ATA-CIF, expect to pay an average of $14,250 in tuition and fees. Of course, this could be reduced if you receive financial aid. On average, associate degree students take out $23,660 in loans while pursuing their degree. Of those students who received their degree, 95% were women.
ATA-CIF is primarily an online school, so it is a great choice for returning adults and students who work full time.
Rasmussen University - Florida came in at #15 in this year’s edition of the Most Popular Online Associate Degree Trade Schools in Florida ranking. Rasmussen University - Florida is a medium-sized private for-profit school located in Ocala, Florida that handed out 2,014 associate degrees in 2021-2022.
Rasmussen University - Florida does not offer a discount to in-state students, so the average tuition and fees for all undergraduates is $13,842. Florida Vocational Institute came in at #17 in this year’s edition of the Most Popular Online Associate Degree Trade Schools in Florida ranking. Located in Miami, Florida, the very small private for-profit school awarded 15 diplomas to qualifed associate degree students in 2021-2022.
Around 93% of those degree recipients were women.
