To help you arm yourself with the information you need to make your decision, Trade College Search has developed this Best Value Trade School Bachelor's Degree Schools in the Southeast Region ranking. This report analyzed 203 schools in the Southeast Region to see which ones offered the best value bachelor's degree programs for trade school students. The goal was to highlight schools with more affordable prices than others offering similar quality experiences.
Our ranking of value is based on the quality of a program as defined in our per sticker price dollar. More specifically, we discount our quality score by the published tuition and fees charged by a school. This gives the cost per unit of quality for each college. The value is determined by how much quality your dollar buys.
In our regional and nationwide rankings, out-of-state tution and fees are used in our calculations. Average in-state tuition and fees are used for our statewide rankings.

Our analysis found Columbia Southern University to be the best value school for trade school students who want to pursue a bachelor’s degree in the Southeast Region . Located in Orange Beach, Alabama, the fairly large private for-profit school awarded 2,691 diplomas to qualifed bachelor’s degree students in 2021-2022.
Columbia Southern University undergraduate students pay an average of $6,015 in tuition and fees each year. On average, bachelor’s degree students take out $24,110 in loans while pursuing their degree.
If you are interested in distance education, Columbia Southern University is an excellent choice, since the school is online.

You’ll join some of the best and brightest minds around you if you attend Western Carolina University. The school came in at #2 on this year’s Best Value Trade School Bachelor’s Degree Schools in the Southeast Region list. WCU is located in Cullowhee, North Carolina and has a fairly large student population. In 2021-2022, this school awarded 2,736 bachelor’s degrees to qualified students.

The excellent bachelor’s degree programs at American Public University System helped the school earn the #3 place on this year’s ranking of the best value trade school schools in the Southeast Region . Charles Town, West Virginia is the setting for this large institution of higher learning. The private for-profit school handed out bachelor’s degrees to 7,010 students in 2021-2022.
Out-of-state tuition fees for undergraduate students at American Military University are $7,360 per year. By the time they get their bachelor’s degree, students from this school have racked up an average of $28,022 in student loans.

With a ranking of #12, University of Southern Mississippi did quite well on this year’s best value schools for trade school students working on their bachelor’s degree. Southern Miss is a fairly large public school situated in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. It awarded 2,630 bachelor’s degrees in 2021-2022.
