Our 2023 rankings named Johnson & Wales University - Providence the most popular school in the United States for culinary arts students working on their bachelor’s degree. JWU Providence is a small private not-for-profit school located in the medium-sized city of Providence.

About 66% of the students majoring in culinary arts at the school are women while 34% are male.

When it comes time to repay the loan, graduates who are on a 10-year repayment plan pay an average monthly payment of $571.

The in-demand bachelor’s degree programs at Culinary Institute of America helped the school earn the #2 place on this year’s ranking of the most popular culinary arts schools in the United States. The Culinary Institute of America is a small private not-for-profit school located in the large suburb of Hyde Park.

Of the 74 students majoring in culinary arts at The Culinary Institute of America, 47% are male and 53% are female.

The average amount in student loans that culinary arts majors at The Culinary Institute of America take out while working on their Bachelor's Degree is $25,016.

Out of the 43 schools in the United States that were part of this year’s ranking, Universidad del Este landed the # 3 spot on the list. Located in the large suburb of Carolina, UNE is a private not-for-profit college with a moderately-sized student population.

About 59% of the students majoring in culinary arts at the school are women while 41% are male.
