To create this ranking we looked at how many students graduated from the Engineering Technologies program at each school on the list.

Our analysis found New York City College of Technology to be the most popular school for engineering technologies students who want to pursue a bachelor’s degree in the Middle Atlantic Region . Located in the large city of Brooklyn, City Tech is a public school with a fairly large student population.

About 14% of the students majoring in engineering tech at the school are women while 86% are male.

Farmingdale, NY

A rank of #2 on this year’s list means Farmingdale State College is a great place for engineering technologies students working on their bachelor’s degree. Located in the large suburb of Farmingdale, SUNY College of Technology at Farmingdale is a public college with a moderately-sized student population.

Of the 273 students majoring in engineering tech at SUNY College of Technology at Farmingdale, 89% are male and 11% are female.

Pennsylvania College of Technology landed the #6 spot in the 2023 rankings for the most popular bachelor’s degree engineering technologies programs. Located in the small city of Williamsport, Penn College is a public college with a small student population.

Of the 132 students majoring in engineering tech at Penn College, 91% are male and 9% are female.

Slippery Rock University of Pennsylvania did quite well in this year’s ranking of the most popular places for engineering technologies students to get a bachelor’s degree. It came in at #7 on the list. Located in the town of Slippery Rock, SRU is a public school with a medium-sized student population.

Of the 157 students majoring in engineering tech at SRU, 81% are male and 19% are female.
