Our analysis found University of North Texas to be the best value school for mechanical engineering technology students who want to pursue a bachelor’s degree in the Southwest Region . UNT is a very large public school located in the city of Denton.

The average tuition and fees for an out-of-state undergraduate student at UNT are $20,932 a year. The average amount in student loans that me tech majors at UNT take out while working on their Bachelor's Degree is $25,083.

Houston, TX

A rank of #2 on this year’s list means University of Houston is a great value for mechanical engineering technology students working on their bachelor’s degree. UH is a fairly large public school located in the large city of Houston.

UH undergraduate students pay an average of $21,891 in tuition and fees each year. After completing their Bachelor's Degree, me tech graduates from UH carry an average student debtload of $25,541.
