Our 2023 rankings named Michigan State University the most popular school in the Great Lakes Region for engineering-related fields students working on their bachelor’s degree. Located in the small city of East Lansing, Michigan State is a public school with a fairly large student population.

About 43% of the students majoring in engineering-related fields at the school are women while 57% are male.

This translates to an average monthly loan payment of $490, based on a 10-year repayment plan.
