Our analysis looked at 16 schools in the Southeast Region to see which basic certificate programs were the most popular for trade school students. To create this ranking we looked at how many students graduated from the Construction program at each school on the list.

Our 2023 rankings named Mountain Empire Community College the most popular school in the Southeast Region for construction students working on their basic certificate. MECC is a small public school located in the distant town of Big Stone Gap.
